When we got home from the hospital we found a birthday package for Jacob from his kindergarten class. It made him so happy. This is the birthday crown they sent; it really made his day (night)! It may not show in the photo, but he really was excited.
Six-year-old Jacob was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in October of 2011. This blog is his journey, and ours, through treatment and recovery. It is also a place to celebrate successes, count our blessings and give thanks to God and to our many wonderful friends and family.
Adorable!! I love the crown :) (one of the joys of kindergarten, I suppose... I don't do birthdays for my 2nd graders... we do a "very merry un-birthday" all together in the spring)
